MOTOの人気作品として提案するオリジナルマットコードバンを使用した、プレーントゥ #2100からイタリアンコードバンを使用した新型モデル#2151が完成！
イタリアタンナーの作るコードバンに原皮を供給している元締めから、直接クラスト状態のコードバン原皮を輸入し、国内タンナーにより加脂など２次鞣しを行い、最終フィニッシュをモトで行っています。
トゥの形状は#2100に似ているので印象はほとんど変わりないが、ハトメ数を増やし、丸細シューレースを装着。ヒールをやや高くしてドレス感、クラシック感がアップ。ハーフインソールのスポンジを厚くし、履き心地の印象をプラスしている。
アンチグレージングコードバンと呼ばれる モトのオリジナルコードバンを採用し、新品時は少しマットな質感に仕上げられています。もちろんそのままですとマットな質感のままですが、乳化性クリームやワックスで磨くことで
トップ画像のように独特の艶感を表現可能です。一度でも光沢出しを味わうと病みつきになるレザーでしょう。MOTO製品ならではの特徴としては、職人が1点1点、ハケを使用して染色するハンドダイ（手染め)を採用しており、履き込むことで染料の退色によって浮かび上がる、【斑茶芯】をお楽しみいただけます。甲部分に初めからエイジング感を演出した履き皺もエイジングの仕上がりの方向性を物語っています。作りは出し縫いグッドイヤー製法。レザーソール仕様。履き始めは硬い履き味となっていますが、徐々に硬さが取れて革が馴染み、次第に足に吸い付く様になっていきます。休日履きとしてだけでなく、仕事履き用としてもOKです。雨天でも気にせずガンガン履ける、とくにかくタフなコードバン靴ですので、幅広いシーンで楽しく履けるでしょう。
