MOTO５０周年プロジェクトが再始動。
本池秀夫が1971年に立ち上げたモトは
当初南青山の小さなビルにアトリエを構えた。
そこには、その後に世界へ羽ばたくデザイナーや
クリエイターが集い、切磋琢磨していた。
そこにはゴローズの高橋吾郎氏もおり、
本池氏がネイティブアメリカンの文化に
色濃く触れるきっかけになったという。
そんなルーツを振り返り、50周年を記念して、
本池秀夫がデザインから原型制作まで
ハンドメイドで行っていくジュエリーシリーズが復活した。

MOTO 50th Anniversary Project is relaunched.
Moto was established by Hideo MOTOIKE in 1971.
At first, he set up his atelier in a small building in Minami Aoyama.
It was there that designers and creators who would later go on to establish themselves in the world gathered and engaged in friendly competition.
Goro Takahashi of Goros was there, and it was there that Motoike came into strong contact with Native American culture.
Looking back to these roots, Hideo Motoike has created a new line of products to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company.
Hideo Motoike has revived a series of handmade jewelry.
